I guess it’s the architect in me….but I go to a sculpture garden and I end up taking a pic of a grove of trees and a random storage shed. I dunno….I just liked it.

Went to the Storm King Art Center upstate NY a few weeks ago. It’s a huge outdoor sculpture garden peppered with all manor of weird interesting stuff. Took a lot of pics….trying to decide which ones I should edit and how to edit them.

So the reason I typically don't post "normal" pictures is because when you look at a typical color photo you see colors. And the contrasts and depth of field can get lost. Which is why I prefer black/white or monochromatic infrared photos

Not my typical IR photograph but I really liked how one swan was in sunlight and the other was in shadow. The actual composition of the two swans crossing in this particular photo however, was simply dumb luck.
